### Summary SuiteCRM V8 exposes an authenticated authorization bypass in relationship creation endpoints. A low-privileged user can call to create relationships even when the operation ultimately modifies persistent foreign-key fields on records that the attacker cannot edit. The root cause is that the API checks only and permissions before calling the relationship creation helper. For one-to-many relationships, the helper writes the right-hand-side foreign key, which turns a read-only relationship action into an unauthorized record modification. ### Impact An authenticated low-privileged user can modify security-relevant relationships and ownership fields on records that should be read-only to them. In practice, this can enable unauthorized reassignment of records, cross-user access expansion, workflow manipulation, and privilege-impacting business logic changes across multiple modules that rely on one-to-many relationships. Because the flaw lives in the generic V8 relationship API, the impact is broader than a single module and affects any similarly mapped one-to-many link where relationship creation writes a foreign key into a target record.
