### Impact An unauthenticated attacker can crash a Nuxt server that renders an island / server component containing a over a prop (for example or a ). Island props come from the request, and the hash in the island URL is a non-secret digest that protects caches rather than authorising the request, so an attacker can compute a valid hash for any props and send the iterated prop as a large integer. Vue expands a over a number to that many nodes during SSR, so memory use grows with the attacker's number rather than with the size of the request. Reporter figures: produced a 142.9 MB response; (and on a slot list) produced an out-of-memory crash of the worker from a single ~130-byte request. Both the plain path (Vue's ) and the slot path ( ) are affected. ### Patches Fixed in and . Numeric sources in island and server component templates are clamped to (10,000) iterations, covering the plain path, the element, and the slot-props helper. Together with the island request body-size cap (GHSA-9pgf-384g-p7mv), this removes the amplification from a small integer prop to an arbitrarily large render. The clamp is defence in depth. It does not bound all the work an island render can do. Island props are untrusted request input, as described in the [server components guide](https://nuxt.com/docs/4.x/guide/concepts/server-components), and components that do work in proportion to a prop (nested loops, loops over prop arrays, or passing the prop to a child component that loops over it) must validate or clamp that prop themselves. Reports showing that such work remains possible are not treated as new vulnerabilities; see the [security policy](https://github.com/nuxt/nuxt/security/policy). ### Workarounds Validate or clamp props before iterating over them in server components (for example , or a schema check on the prop). A body-size limit in front of only mitigates array-shaped inputs, not the integer-amplification case. ### References - Bound helper: - [Server components guide](https
