## Impact Shopware’s media URL import feature could be used to make server-side requests to internal network services. An authenticated Administration user with the required media permissions could bypass URL validation through DNS rebinding and retrieve responses from internal addresses. This could expose sensitive internal services or cloud-instance metadata, depending on the hosting environment. ## Affected versions - Shopware 6.5.0.0 through the 6.5 series - Shopware 6.6.0.0 through 6.6.10.22 - Shopware 6.7.0.0 through 6.7.13.0 ## Patches The issue is fixed in: - 6.6.10.23 - 6.7.13.1 We recommend updating to a patched version as soon as possible. Users on the 6.5 series should upgrade to a supported patched release. ## Workarounds If an immediate update is not possible, restrict the ability to import media from external URLs to fully trusted users and integrations. Review accounts and integrations with media-management permissions, and remove unneeded access. ## Credits Thanks to [@bl4cksku11](https://github.com/bl4cksku11), [@colinthebomb1](https://github.com/colinthebomb1), and [@callghost](https://github.com/callghost) for responsibly reporting this issue.
