Craft CMS allows an unauthenticated public registrant to reclaim a deactivated non-admin account while retaining all direct permissions previously assigned to that account. The 5.10.11 fix for GHSA-242m-9wq7-vhwq handles the same account-reuse flow, but clears only . Direct permissions are stored independently in and are not cleared when the inactive account is reused. The registrant chooses a new password, the existing account is activated, and its old direct permissions remain effective. ### Impact The attacker gains all direct permissions retained by the deactivated account under a newly chosen password. If email verification is disabled, it leads to privileged account takeover Report ID: 1881
