## Impact Shopware did not sufficiently validate identifiers in custom-entity definitions supplied by Apps. A malicious or compromised App could use a crafted custom-entity definition to execute arbitrary SQL with the permissions of Shopware’s database connection. This could allow an attacker to read, modify, or delete shop data, alter the database schema, or disrupt the shop. ## Affected versions - Shopware 6.6.0.0 through 6.6.10.22 - Shopware 6.7.0.0 through 6.7.13.0 ## Patches The issue is fixed in: - 6.6.10.23 - 6.7.13.1 We recommend updating to a patched version as soon as possible. ## Workarounds Until an update can be applied, install and update Apps only from trusted sources. Review installed Apps, particularly those that define custom entities, and avoid enabling or updating untrusted Apps. ## Credits Thanks to [@seggewiss](https://github.com/seggewiss) for responsibly reporting this issue.
